One Response to “Giving Back”

  1. To Whom it may concern:

My name is Sabrina. I’m emailing you on behalf of Sterling Engagements, an event design and production firm based in Los Angeles. We are thrilled to be producing the 7th Annual Gala for the nonprofit, Face Forward.

Face Forward is an amazing charity organization whose mission is to provide emotional support and reconstructive surgery for women, children and men who are victims of domestic violence, human trafficking and other cruel acts of crime. In 2015 alone, Face Forward was able to provide 10 new patients with nearly 30 surgical procedures, totaling over $750,000 in donated surgical and therapy services!

The Face Forward Annual Charity Gala is taking place on Saturday, September 24th ,2016. We are so honored to be producing this special event and would love to get you involved potentially as a sponsor. Face Forward’s pro bono services are made possible by the support of our incredible board of directors, honorary committee as well as all of our creative partners and sponsors that come together year-round, but especially for the gala.

“Havana Nights” is the experience we are designing for our guests this year at the historic Vibiana in Downtown Los Angeles. It will be an evening filled with beauty, entertainment and grandeur. Last years’ Gala was hosted by actress/comedian Nicole Sullivan and was complete with a fabulous cocktail reception, a star filled red carpet, a Moulin Rouge reception as well as both silent and live auctions. Guests were treated to a special performance from Grammy winning artists Macy Gray and Chaka Khan. Some of our celebrity advocates in attendance included LaToya Jackson, cast members of CBS’s Code Black including Marcia Gay Harden, Bonnie Somerville and Luis Guzman, actress Lana Parrilla of ABC’s Once Upon A Time, World Champion boxer “Sugar” Shane Mosley, Rapper/Songwriter Nelly and many more!

We are proud that Face Forward’s Annual Gala stands out from all the rest…as we take this night as an opportunity to truly celebrate the lives of the survivors we treat, and do so in a glamorous and entertaining manner. The night is dedicated to the progress made by each of the patients and to continue raising awareness and support for victims of domestic violence, human trafficking and cruel acts of crime.

With that said, we would be honored to have your support this year! There are various sponsorship levels available which include: VIP Tables, Premier Placement in Press Releases, Company Name in the Title of the Event, Recognition during the event program, ad placement in the event program, logo recognition on the step and repeat and more.

While we appreciate your support in any capacity possible, our highest priority needs are the following donations:

    • Alcohol Sponsors (beer, wine and spirits)
    • Silent and Live Auction Items
    • Gift Bag Items for 500 guests
    • Specialty Services onsite at the event (Interactive Entertainment, Caricature Artists, cigar station, etc.)
    • Purchasing individual tickets and tables to the actual event

All proceeds raised through our Silent and Live auctions directly support our patients’ treatments and post-surgery recovery care, and donations made to Face Forward are tax deductible. I have included a link to a video from last year’s Gala Event and the Havana Nights Press Kit, to give a greater understanding of the exceptional work Face Forward does and the caliber of event being produced to help raise more awareness and funds to support survivors!

Together we can change lives, by helping these survivors of domestic abuse and human trafficking along their healing journey… face forward.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration! Please let me know if you have any additional questions, comments or would like to participate.
